Payton Jackson

Payton Johnson is the Executive chef at the newly established downtown Spokane restaurant Wooden City. Working alongside owners Jon Green and Abe Fox he helps bring an extensive fine dining culinary background to a very approachable concept that’s goal is to provide an experience that anyone can enjoy.  Payton has spent 15 years in the industry cooking in some of the best restaurants in the country from Chicago to Portland including Michelin starred L20, Table 52, and Yusho. Payton and the team at Wooden City are driven to create positive changes to the hospitality industry by creating a safe, fun, and sustainable restaurant where positive vibes are at the forefront of the experience.
